General Info

Tucked along TF-342, 231 in Los Realejos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, La Trilla is the kind of restaurant that feels relaxed the moment you arrive. The location is easy to reach, and the atmosphere has a simple charm that makes it ideal for a casual lunch or a laid-back meal with friends. From the first glance at the menu, it’s clear that this spot focuses on comforting, well-prepared dishes that highlight familiar Spanish flavors.

One of the dishes that immediately caught my attention was the Carne En Salsa. The meat is tender and rich, simmered in a flavorful sauce that feels homemade. It’s the kind of dish that pairs perfectly with good conversation and a slow lunch. Another standout from the menu is the Chuleta Cerdo, a satisfying pork chop that arrives nicely cooked and full of flavor. Both dishes show the restaurant’s focus on simple ingredients prepared with care.

Seafood lovers aren’t the only ones who find something to enjoy here. The Pechuga de Pollo A la Plancha is a great lighter option, grilled just right while still juicy. Meanwhile, the Queso Asado Con Mojos is one of those plates you’ll want to share with the table. The warm grilled cheese combined with the traditional mojo sauces delivers a bold taste that really reflects the culinary style of the area.

Of course, no visit feels complete without something sweet. The Tarya de Galletas offers a satisfying finish to the meal. It’s simple, comforting, and the perfect dessert to round out the experience after a savory lunch.

Beyond the food, La Trilla keeps things practical and welcoming. The outdoor seating area is a pleasant place to enjoy Tenerife’s fresh air while dining. It’s especially nice during lunch hours when the sunlight adds to the relaxed setting. The restaurant also provides basic conveniences that make a visit easy, including a restroom and flexible payment options like credit cards and debit cards.

Overall, La Trilla feels like a neighborhood restaurant where the focus stays on good food and an easygoing atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of classic dishes, the location in Los Realejos is convenient, and the service setup makes stopping in for lunch straightforward. Judging by the steady flow of guests and the positive reviews from diners enjoying the outdoor tables, it’s clear that this restaurant has built a comfortable place for locals and visitors alike to enjoy a satisfying meal.

What customers say?

“ Although they didn't offer us a physical menu and the selection wasn't extensive, the food tasted quite homemade and fresh. I'd also like to highlight the friendly service. ”

“ A simple restaurant with a busy bar that brings noise into the dining room. That said, it's a place where you eat well, serving typical Canarian dishes, well-prepared and generously portioned (be careful about how much you order). The service is fast and attentive. The menu features set dishes and then changes based on what's available. Prices are absolutely fair. ”

“ Very friendly staff, great location, cheap prices in an expensive atmosphere. Perfect! ”

“ Perfect for lunch. The menu offered three main courses and two varied main courses, offering plenty of choice. Homemade food of good quality, everything was delicious, and best of all, at a very good price. We also brought sandwiches, and they were very good too, plus they had a wide variety. The service couldn't have been better. The waiters were extremely attentive and efficient, serving us with diligence and kindness. 100% recommended. ”

“ 4 stars for the fantastic view of (Teide on a clear day) - the girl who served took a long long time to bring the coffee we ordered and it wasn't particularly busy so I can't say the service/food/drinks were good - from what I saw on other people's plates, they offer the same type of dishes you'd get anywhere at a roadside cafe in Tenerife. ”

“ This place is 100% recommended. Excellent food, impeccable service, and well-executed dishes. Run by a young entrepreneur from the Canary Islands, with attitude, vision, and drive. This isn't just a restaurant: it's a project with soul, built with dedication, flavor, and a strong desire to grow. Good luck, guys! ”

“ Nice place with great views and very friendly prices. Good service. ”

“ I'd put it on my to-do list for a while. Today we stopped by on a motorcycle tour. First of all, the views from the terrace are priceless, and if it's clear like today, it's spectacular. A very good, peaceful atmosphere, and a spacious terrace. The staff was very attentive, to be honest. We stopped by to try something and have a snack, although they have a well-stocked menu and a daily menu. We had some fish churros, one with grilled cheese, and a half of fabada. To give a minor detail, not to give a bad review, but quite the opposite, I'd say the mojo sauce, apart from the cheese, was very good, and the churros were a little less fried, but that's a matter of personal taste. The fabada was very good, as was the sauce for dipping bread. In short, good work always bears fruit. I recommend that those of us who own a motorcycle and are doing this route through Icod Alto stop for a bite or a snack. By the way, there is parking in the lower area if there isn't one on the road. ”
